Volodymyr Nagovitsyn
I help patients restore lost teeth, smile function, and aesthetics — from single implant placement to comprehensive rehabilitation in cases of significant tooth loss and bone deficiency.
I received my medical education at Odesa National Medical University. I continued my professional training at Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University and obtained a specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine.
I began my professional career in Lviv. Later, I worked as a surgeon in the Department of Head and Neck Tumors at the National Cancer Institute in Kyiv. This experience shaped my exceptionally attentive approach to anatomy, diagnostics, surgical planning, and responsibility for treatment outcomes.
Main areas of my practice:
- One-stage and two-stage dental implantation
- Bone grafting and soft tissue augmentation
- Sinus lift procedures
- Tooth-preserving surgery
- Guided / Navigational surgery
- Implant-supported prosthetics
- Full-arch restoration using All-on-4 and All-on-6 protocols
I work using optical magnification. I am a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the Ukrainian Academy of Periodontology. I regularly attend advanced training in Ukraine and abroad, learning from leading experts in dental implantology, bone, and soft tissue grafting — including Samuel Lee, Giovanni Zucchelli, Marius Steigmann, and Ricardo Kern.
I have shared my clinical experience as a speaker at the “Moya Sprava” conference, the ITI Case Club meeting in Kyiv, and the National ITI Congress in Lviv.
In my practice, accurate diagnostics, a well-reasoned treatment plan, and predictable outcomes are paramount. I explain the available treatment options, stages, and timelines to each patient in detail. In complex cases, I plan treatment together with other specialists at the clinic to consider not only the surgical stage, but also the future function and aesthetics of the teeth.
I have completed numerous professional courses and international training programmes. The most significant include:
- Periodontal Plastic Surgical Techniques to Achieve Stable Soft Tissue Augmentation — hands-on course led by Giovanni Zucchelli, Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria;
- Soft Tissue Management During Bone Augmentation — Marius Steigmann;
- Soft Tissue Management Around Teeth and Implants. Treatment of Gingival Recession — Ricardo Kern.
