Full mouth implant rehabilitation using the “All-on-6” protocol with pterygoid support
- The Patient contacted with complete edentulism of the upper jaw and partial edentulism of the lower jaw.
- The Patient’s main request was to receive fixed, non-removable restorations and to fully restore masticatory function and aesthetics.
- Following comprehensive diagnostics, computed tomography and digital planning, a strategy of full rehabilitation using the “All-on-6” protocol was selected for both jaws. Surgical stage: · Six implants were placed on the upper jaw, including implants in the pterygoid area. This ensured reliable primary stability and avoided the need for additional bone grafting procedures; · Six implants were placed on the lower jaw in anatomically and prosthetically optimized positions; · All implants were placed using individual surgical template, ensuring precision, safety and predictability of the result.
- Prosthetic stage Following the integration period, a complete reconstruction of the dental arches was carried out. Non-removable prosthetic restorations supported by implants were fabricated and fixed. Whole zirconia crowns were used as the permanent restorations – these are durable, biocompatible and aesthetically as close as possible to natural teeth.
- The result of treatment: · masticatory function fully restored; · correct occlusion established; · a natural-looking smile achieved; · the Patient received a stable, durable and comfortable fixed restorations.
- Comprehensive digital implant supported rehabilitation has restored the Patient’s quality of life, free from removable dentures and restrictions on diet and social interaction.
