Total rehabilitation for pathological abrasion
- The patient contacted us with severe pathological teeth wear, reduced bite height, impaired chewing function and aesthetic issues.
- After comprehensive diagnostics (clinical examination, photo protocol, occlusion analysis), a decision was made to perform total orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Situation before treatment.
- Full-anatomical zirconia crowns were chosen as permanent restorations, as they are the most durable, biocompatible and functionally stable material for increased loads.
- Prosthetics were performed within two weeks with restoration of: · physiological bite height; · correct occlusal relationships; · chewing function; · smile and facial aesthetics.
- The patient fully adapted to the new restorations and was satisfied with the functional and aesthetic results.
