Orthopedic rehabilitation of an orthodontic patient with diastema
The patient made a request to close the diastema, replace the maxillary left milk canine with a permanent one and make the smile more attractive.
We have been performing full rehabilitation for several months as we had to extract the milk canine.
After that, we fixed implants in the canine area (23 tooth), missing 35 and 37 teeth.
Two months later, the patient got ceramic restorations.
It was a challenging task to close the gap (diastema) between the central incisors without orthodontic treatment and create a symmetrical gingival margin of the upper jaw.
The patient was delighted with the result of the prosthetics.
