Orthopedic rehabilitation of an orthodontic patient with diastema
- The patient made a request to close the diastema, replace the maxillary left milk canine with a permanent one and make the smile more attractive.
- We have been performing full rehabilitation for several months as we had to extract the milk canine.
- After that, we fixed implants in the canine area (23 tooth), missing 35 and 37 teeth.
- Two months later, the patient got ceramic restorations.
- It was a challenging task to close the gap (diastema) between the central incisors without orthodontic treatment and create a symmetrical gingival margin of the upper jaw.
- The patient was delighted with the result of the prosthetics.
