Modern patients increasingly want to restore their teeth not only with high quality, but also as quickly as possible. That is why there is growing interest in immediate loading implant methods, where the crown is placed on the day of surgery. This raises a logical question: is Alpha Bio, an affordable and popular implant system, suitable for this?

At KES Clinic, we successfully use Alpha Bio implants with immediate loading, and in this article we will explain when this is possible, how it works and why it is essential to choose the right approach.

Alpha Bio implants

What is immediate loading, and what are its advantages?

Immediate loading is a method in which a temporary crown is fixed to the implant on the same day or within 72 hours of implant placement. It is not permanent, but it allows to:

  • restore aesthetics;
  • speak and smile without embarrassment;
  • chew partially on the opposite side.

At the same time:

  • the patient does not lose any teeth;
  • the gums form immediately under the crown;
  • stress and discomfort are reduced.

The method is particularly relevant in the smile zone, in cases of loss of incisors and premolars, as well as in complex total protocols (e.g. All-on-4).

Can immediate loading be used with Alpha Bio?

Yes, the Alpha Bio Tec system has all the technical parameters necessary for immediate loading, subject to several conditions:

  • nitial implant stability of 35 N·cm is achieved;
  • the patient has no acute inflammatory processes;
  • the load on the implant is limited (especially in the first 2-3 months);

Alpha Bio manufactures implant models with aggressive threads and an extended neck, specifically designed for these protocols. At KES, we use DFI, NICE and SPI models, which consistently show excellent results with immediate loading.

When is this approach not recommended?

Immediate loading is not a universal option. There are clear contraindications where the implant needs more time to integrate:

  • Low bone density (usually in the upper jaw).
  • Periodontitis in the active phase.
  • Insufficient bone volume.
  • Acute trauma or inflammation in the implant site.
  • Inability to achieve stability greater than 30 N·cm.
  • Severe overload due to malocclusion.

Immediate loading is also not recommended:

  • for patients with bruxism;
  • in cases of general systemic diseases without compensation;
  • for complex restorations without digital planning.

That is why accurate 3D diagnostics, modelling, and consultation with an orthopaedic surgeon are essential before making a decision.

Why is Alpha Bio suitable for this protocol?

Despite their affordability, Alpha Bio implants are designed to international standards. They provide excellent primary stability and fast osseointegration, allowing them to be used in accelerated treatment protocols.

Wide range of models

Alpha Bio offers more than 10 implant modifications, including:

  • DFI — with aggressive threading for soft bone;
  • SPI — a universal option for most clinical cases;
  • NICE — with a progressive neck for immediate loading and an aesthetic zone.

This enables the selection of the ideal option for the patient’s anatomy and the specific treatment scenario, ranging from single restorations to complete dentures.

Reliability of Alpha Bio implants

Connection reliability and microthread

The Alpha Bio system uses:

  • a conical internal connection — resistant to micro-movements;
  • micro- and macro-threads — for even load distribution;
  • a NanoTec-treated surface — to accelerate osseointegration.

All these features enable fast and strong osseointegration, which is crucial in early prosthetics.

Doctor experience and survival statistics

Alpha Bio implants have undergone numerous clinical trials and have been successfully used in hundreds of thousands of operations worldwide. At KES, we have been using this system for over 10 years, including in immediate loading protocols.

According to Alpha Bio Tec research and our team’s practical experience:

  • The success rate of immediate loading is between 96% and 98%, which corresponds to the indicators of premium systems.
  • Osseointegration is typically completed within 4-6 weeks, especially when using PRF/PRP and piezosurgery.
  • 85% of temporary crowns are replaced with permanent ones after 3-4 months without complications.

We pay special attention to patients with risk factors — the elderly, smokers, and those with bone deficiency. In these cases, additional measures are taken:

  • PRF therapy (bioactive factors from the patient’s blood);
  • templates for accurate and gentle placement;
  • selection of the optimal implant type (e.g., DFI or SPI).

Observation of our patients over 1-3 years shows that even when using the accelerated protocol, Alpha Bio demonstrates high stability, a dense bone margin and healthy gums around the implant.

This makes the system a reliable choice not only for standard cases but also for complex clinical situations where a quick result with minimal trauma is required.

Conclusion: is immediate loading worth it?

Immediate loading is a reality in modern implantology. The Alpha Bio system makes this procedure accessible, fast and predictable. However, it is essential to recognise that success depends not only on the implant but also on competent planning, suitable equipment, and adherence to all clinical stages.
