Comprehensive rehabilitation with all-ceramic crowns: a new smile without long gnathological stages

  1. The patient was contacted with complaints of excessive tooth wear, especially in the anterior area. She was also concerned about chips on the cutting edges of her upper incisors and what she considered to be a shade of enamel that was not light enough.
  1. Following a comprehensive diagnosis and analysis of the bite, a decision was made to carry out a complete aesthetic and functional restoration using all-ceramic crowns and veneers.
  1. In consultation with the patient, the shade BL2 (Bleach) was selected – a natural, light shade that would create a bright yet harmonious smile.
  1. In the first stage, the teeth were prepared, high-precision impressions were taken and temporary restorations were fabricated. These allowed the patient to comfortably carry on with her normal life, whilst also enabling her to assess the future shape and aesthetics of her smile.
  1. Ten days after the permanent restorations were fabricated, they were fitted. As a result, we were able not only to restore the natural anatomy of the teeth and correct the effects of wear, but also to significantly improve the aesthetics of the smile.
  1. The new ceramic crowns and veneers ensured the proper function of the dentition, durability and a natural appearance.
  1. The result of the treatment is a harmonious smile, restored occlusal height, natural aesthetics and comfort, which will bring the patient joy for many years to come.
