Clinical case of complex rehabilitation of a Patient with dental arch disorder and pathological wear of teeth

  1. The patient had the following features of occlusion and the condition of the dentoalveolar system: the presence of a diastema, severe teeth wear, deep frontal overlap.
  1. The absence of the second upper left incisor (tooth 22) and the first right lower premolar (tooth 44) was also diagnosed.
  1. Taking into account the clinical picture and orthopedic indications complex rehabilitation was carried out, including the following stages: • implantation in the area of ​​teeth number 22 and 44 with a subsequent osseointegration period; • total prosthetics using all-ceramic crowns based on zirconium dioxide with restoration of the anatomical shape and functional occlusion of the teeth; • production and fixation of zirconium crowns on dental implants in the area of teeth number 22 and 44.
  1. As a result of the treatment, a stable occlusal scheme was achieved, the aesthetics and function of the dental system were restored, uniform distribution of the chewing load was ensured, and the patient's quality of life was improved.
