Manufacture of new implant-retained zirconia crowns due to poor aesthetics of old dental prostheses
The patient underwent dental treatment in Costa Rica. According to the “All-on-4” treatment protocol, implant-supported screw-retained zirconia crowns for both jaws were manufactured for her.
The patient was not satisfied with the aesthetic result, as the placement of artificial teeth did not meet the aesthetic criteria. When the patient smiled, the artificial gum and the prosthesis edge were visible and her upper lip looked too full.
The dentists in Kyiv decided to redesign these restorations. After the impressions were taken, new implant-supported screw-retained zirconia crowns were manufactured. The restorations were without artificial gum, looked naturally and completely met the aesthetic requirements of the patient.
